About The Position

The part-time Bakery Apprentice provides customer service to all patrons in accordance with the Olesen standard and maintains the overall presentation of retail bakery areas and products. The role supports operational efficiency while meeting or exceeding the company’s quality standards. The apprentice is trained to follow the company’s Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs), HACCP, and other food safety procedures. The position may also help other departments as needed to support the company’s daily mission.

Requirements

• Strong math skills, including the ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide without a calculator.
• Ability to read and speak English.
• Ability to multitask and take a proactive approach to problem solving.
• Willingness to learn new skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to all patrons in accordance with the Olesen standard.
• Ensure the overall presentation of retail bakery areas and products.
• Work to optimize operational efficiencies while ensuring company quality standards are met or exceeded.
• Become trained in and adhere to the company’s Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs).
• Become trained in and adhere to the company’s HACCP and other food safety procedures.
• Ensure daily and weekly orders are filled accurately.
• Help other departments when needed.
• Perform other related duties as assigned by management.
