About The Position

Join the culinary team at Kneads Bakeshop, a new and exciting dining destination. We are looking for a Baker to bring their passion for cooking and creativity to the kitchen. As a Baker, you will work closely with the Head Baker preparing and baking a variety of breads, pastries, and other baked goods. This is a rare opportunity for a Baker to make a big impact at the beginning of a restaurant's journey to success. Requirements

Strong knowledge of baking techniques and ingredients.
Strong attention to detail and ability to follow recipes and instructions accurately.
Strong organizational and time management skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Physical ability to stand for long periods of time, lift heavy bags of flour and other ingredients, and work in a hot kitchen.
Good knowledge of food safety and sanitation guidelines.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work flexible hours, including early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays

Nice To Haves

Experience with baking equipment, such as ovens, mixers, and dough rollers, is a plus.
Creativity and passion for baking is a plus.

Responsibilities

Prepare and bake a variety of breads, pastries, and other baked goods.
Mix, measure, and prepare dough, as well as shape and bake the final products.
Follow established recipes and instructions to ensure consistency in products.
Ensure that baked goods are visually appealing and meet quality standards.
Maintain a clean and safe work environment, and follow food safety and sanitation guidelines.
Monitor and adjust oven temperatures and baking times as needed.
Keep accurate records of ingredients, production schedules, and finished products.
Communicate any issues or complaints to management.
Keep up with new baking trends and techniques.
