About The Position

Nugget Markets is seeking dedicated bakers with practical baking experience to join their talented and passionate bakery team. This is a full-time position suitable for individuals experienced in fast-paced, early morning environments, with shifts starting as early as 3:00 am. Individual associate hourly rates are based on factors including experience, location, and length of employment. Requirements

Must be at least 18 years of age.
Must possess basic math skills.
Must have intermediate product knowledge including knowledge of temperature, chemical reactions, and bakery products.
Ability to occasionally lift up to 50lbs.
Basic understanding of the English language, which includes the ability to communicate and read basic instructions, schedules, and signage.
Excellent customer service skills.
A positive attitude is essential.

Responsibilities

Baking, merchandising, and packaging goods such as bagels, croissants, cookies, and other pastries.
Loading carts and racks with product.
Lifting and stacking flour.
Operating all kitchen machinery including ovens, proofers, and mixers.
Maintaining a clean, sanitary, and attractive work environment.
Assisting bakery clerks.
Providing world-class service to guests.
Traveling to Nugget Market locations in Davis, West Sacramento, and Vacaville.
