Bagel Teammate Full-Time
About The Position
Provides fast, friendly, helpful, and efficient service to Price Chopper customers. Prepares, bakes, and merchandises bagel products under the direct supervision of the bakery manager or bagel first clerk to support sales. Maintains a clean and sanitized workstation in accordance with corporate and state sanitation regulations. The role assists with bakery and bagel operations in a retail store, including product preparation, baking, merchandising, and presentation. It also involves assisting with or creating customer special orders, operating bagel department equipment, following safety and sanitation standards, and controlling shrink by adhering to related policies and procedures. Other duties may be assigned by management.
Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Strong communication skills.
- Basic literacy skills.
- Basic computer skills.
- Satisfactory performance reviews.
Responsibilities
- Assist with bakery and bagel operations in a retail store, including preparation, baking, merchandising, and final presentation of bakery products.
- Provide consistently fast, friendly, helpful, and efficient customer service.
- Smile, make eye contact, and thank customers when fulfilling their requests.
- Maintain a neat, clean, and organized workstation according to 5S standards.
- Assist with or create customer special orders.
- Operate bagel department equipment, including ovens, mixers, and utensils.
- Follow corporate and state sanitation regulations and maintain a clean workstation.
- Follow state and corporate safety standards.
- Control shrink by following related policies and procedures.
- Perform other related duties assigned by management and adhere to company policies and procedures.
