About The Position

Provides fast, friendly, helpful, and efficient service to Price Chopper customers. Slices, cuts, and wraps deli products for consumption; explains cheese types, characteristics, and uses to customers; and maintains a clean, sanitized, neat, and organized workstation in accordance with company standards and corporate and state sanitation regulations. The role also includes controlling shrink by following related policies and procedures and performing other related duties assigned by management. Applicants must be at least 18 years of age and have basic literacy, strong communication skills, basic computer skills, and satisfactory performance reviews.

Responsibilities

• Provide fast, friendly, helpful, and efficient service to customers.
• Smile, make eye contact, and thank customers when fulfilling their requests.
• Maintain a neat, clean, and organized workstation.
• Slice, cut, and wrap deli products for consumption.
• Explain cheese types, characteristics, and uses to customers.
• Perform department sanitation duties in accordance with corporate and state regulations, including mopping, sweeping, emptying garbage, and cleaning production equipment.
• Work consistently within company service and efficiency standards.
• Control shrink by adhering to related policies and procedures.
• Perform other related duties as assigned by management and follow company policies and procedures.
