About The Position

The Backroom Associate is responsible for supporting a highly satisfied customer experience by engaging with customers and maintaining a clean, organized, and safe store environment. The role follows operational, merchandise, labor, and loss-prevention standards and may involve cross-training in multiple store areas to support business needs. The posted schedule is Monday through Friday, 5 p.m. to 10 p.m.

Responsibilities

Model established customer experience practices with internal and external customers.
Support a positive store culture through honesty, integrity, and respect.
Ring customer purchases and returns accurately and count change according to operating procedures.
Promote credit and loyalty programs.
Maintain the merchandising philosophy and follow established merchandising procedures and standards.
Process and prepare merchandise for the sales floor accurately and according to company procedures and standards.
Initiate and participate in store recovery as needed throughout the day.
Maintain organizational, cleanliness, and recovery standards on the sales floor and help maintain cleanliness throughout the store.
Provide and accept recognition and constructive feedback.
Follow labor laws, policies, and procedures.
Support and participate in store shrink-reduction goals and programs.
Participate in safety awareness and maintain a safe environment.
Perform other duties as assigned.
