About The Position

The Material Handler handles, moves, and tracks materials and components and completes documentation in support of pharmaceutical production. Work must follow cGMP regulatory standards and SOPs to help ensure products are safe, pure, and effective. The position works under general supervision and is scheduled Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Requirements

• Ability to read and write English.
• Good communication skills.
• Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations, including addition, subtraction, and division.
• Mechanical aptitude and ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Attention to detail and ability to multitask and manage multiple priorities without undue stress or errors.
• Ability to operate computer programs such as Excel, Word, and Flowlytics.
• Ability to operate a pallet jack.
• Ability to operate a forklift.
• Current driver's license.
• High school diploma, or an education/work experience equivalency: 3 years of education plus 3 years of work experience; 2 years of education plus 5 years of work experience; 1 year of education plus 7 years of work experience; or no high school education plus 9 years of work experience.
• One year of warehouse experience.

Nice To Haves

• Forklift experience.

Responsibilities

• Unload, move, and store materials as requested.
• Inspect and deliver incoming shipments.
• Pick Bills of Materials (BOMs).
• Complete pickups and deliveries between facility sites.
• Use SAP for more complex material transactions.
• Maintain cleanliness of warehouse and shipping/receiving areas.
• Complete Resource Conservation and Recovery Act training within six months of hire and annually thereafter.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
