About The Position
Conning is a global investment management firm serving the insurance industry with customized investment strategies based on clients’ objectives, requirements, and risk tolerance. The Back Office Operations & Systems Analyst supports daily Back Office processing, systems, and operational initiatives. The role partners with Middle Office and Technology teams to address data, processing, reconciliation, and performance-result issues, and supports system enhancements and process improvements.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, Information Systems, or a related field.
- 0–3 years of relevant experience.
- Strong Excel and data-analysis skills.
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
Nice To Haves
- Knowledge of SimCorp Dimension.
- Investment operations, accounting, or financial-services experience.
- SQL, reporting, or automation experience.
Responsibilities
- Support daily Back Office processing and systems.
- Support SimCorp Dimension and related operational workflows.
- Troubleshoot data, processing, reconciliation, and performance-result issues.
- Partner with Middle Office and Technology to resolve data and system exceptions.
- Support system enhancements, testing, implementations, and process improvements.
- Analyze data and identify opportunities to improve operational efficiency and controls.
