Requirements
- Law degree
- Member in good standing of the Barreau du Québec
- 2-3 years of experience in litigation
Responsibilities
- Manage diversified civil and commercial litigation files, in addition to supporting associates in complex litigation cases.
- Meet with clients to receive and analyze documentation, set objectives, and establish case strategy, in addition to providing legal advice throughout the file.
- Act as a representative for clients, whether during negotiations with the opposing party, in court, at settlement conferences, or in other circumstances.
- Conduct witness examinations and assist clients when they are being questioned.
- Be responsible for trial preparation and drafting legal documents of all kinds.
