Automotive Used Car Sales Manager

Faulkner has won a combined 60+ Best Places to Work Awards. As a Sales Manager, you will supervise the sales team and oversee all practices occurring in the vehicle showroom. Used vehicle sales managers are responsible for the sales, appraisal, purchase, reconditioning, display and merchandising of the used vehicle inventory. Managers ensure customer retention by hiring, training and evaluating their sales staff to be customer-focused. Maintain profitability of department while controlling expenses and retaining customer satisfaction. As with all positions within dealerships, used vehicle sales managers are expected to uphold the highest ethical standards.
Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years old and have a valid driver’s license
- 5+ years of used car management experience required
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Must be able to perform all job functions which may include bending, standing, lifting and reaching.
- Ability to forecast and achieve sales and profit goals
- Excellent computer skills and very detail oriented ability
Nice To Haves
- Automotive experience is a plus
- Experience managing, hiring and developing employees preferred
