This leadership role is perfect for a dynamic individual passionate about the automotive industry and skilled in managing a successful used car department. You will play a key role in driving sales, optimizing inventory, and delivering exceptional customer experiences.

Requirements

Proven experience in automotive used car management or sales, preferably in a leadership role, preferably 3+ years of dealership experience
Strong understanding of used car inventory management, pricing strategies, and sales techniques.
Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
Ability to analyze data and market trends to make informed business decisions.
High level of organization and attention to detail.
Knowledge of relevant regulatory requirements and compliance standards.
Proficient with automotive software and tools. We are currently using Tekion
Valid driver's license.

Responsibilities

Oversee the daily operations of the used car department, ensuring efficiency and profitability.
Manage inventory acquisition, pricing, and merchandising to maximize sales and profitability.
Appraisals, trade walks, and desking on every used car deal
Merchandising- photos, descriptions, and turn on every listing.
Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, used car vendors, and finance partners.
Analyze market trends and adjust strategies to stay competitive in the used car market.
Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements and company policies.
Collaborate with other departments to enhance overall dealership performance, including reconditioning and cost control with the Service team.
