About The Position

Christian Brothers Automotive is seeking energetic, upbeat automotive technicians and mechanics with a positive attitude and a strong commitment to finding solutions and doing what is right for customers. Technicians diagnose and repair vehicles, build experience across a wide range of domestic and foreign makes and models, and work collaboratively with the service department and other technicians to resolve concerns and deliver quality results. The role is based at 100 Prosperity Drive, O'Fallon, MO 63368.

Requirements

Positive attitude and a desire to serve customers.
At least 3 years of experience as an automotive technician or mechanic.
Ability to diagnose and repair all makes and models of vehicles.
Aptitude for learning additional skills and processes.
Professional appearance and strong communication skills.
Desire for long-term career development.
Ability to occasionally lift and/or move over 100 pounds.
Ability to work with tools on vehicles lifted above the technician’s head and in tight spaces.
Dexterity to use hand tools efficiently.
Ability to walk or stand for most of the workday.
Ability to drive vehicles with manual transmissions.
Ability to navigate a computer efficiently.

Responsibilities

Use automotive knowledge and skills to diagnose and repair customers’ vehicles.
Build experience working on a wide range of domestic and foreign vehicles.
Complete full, accurate, and honest courtesy vehicle inspections.
Work as part of a team to troubleshoot customer concerns quickly and effectively.
Follow and promote high standards of safety, cleanliness, and organization.
Work closely with the service department and communicate customer concerns effectively.
Collaborate with other technicians to solve problems, meet deadlines, and deliver distinguished results.
Meet or exceed hourly goals.
