About The Position

Christian Brothers Automotive is seeking an energetic, upbeat automotive technician/mechanic with a positive attitude and a strong commitment to finding solutions and doing what is right for guests. The technician will diagnose and repair vehicles, build experience working on a wide range of domestic and foreign vehicles, complete accurate and honest courtesy inspections, and collaborate with the service department and other technicians to address concerns efficiently and deliver quality results. The role is at the independently owned Christian Brothers Automotive location at 212 Bullsboro Dr, Newnan, Georgia. The company describes its shops as modern facilities equipped with manufacturer-level diagnostic equipment and factory scan tools, with consistent workloads, free training, live technician support, and access to a private Technician Assistance Center.

Requirements

At least 3 years of experience as an automotive technician or mechanic.
Positive attitude and a desire to serve guests.
Ability to diagnose and repair all makes and models of vehicles.
Aptitude for learning additional skills and processes.
Professional appearance and strong communication skills.
Desire for long-term career development.
Ability to occasionally lift and/or move more than 100 pounds.
Ability to work with tools on vehicles lifted above the technician’s head and in tight spaces as required by repairs.
Dexterity to use hand tools efficiently.
Ability to walk and stand for most of the workday.
Ability to drive manual-transmission vehicles.
Ability to navigate a computer efficiently.

Responsibilities

Use automotive knowledge and skills to diagnose and repair guest vehicles.
Build experience working on a wide range of domestic and foreign vehicles.
Complete full, accurate, and honest courtesy vehicle inspections.
