About The Position

Christian Brothers Automotive is seeking an energetic, upbeat Automotive Technician / Mechanic with a positive attitude and a strong passion for finding solutions and doing what is right for guests. The technician diagnoses and repairs vehicles, builds experience across a wide range of domestic and foreign vehicles, and works with the service department and other technicians to resolve customer concerns and deliver high-quality results. The location is at 140 Price Rd. in Fayetteville, Georgia, and is listed as coming soon. The independently owned and operated local franchise offers a modern facility with manufacturer-level diagnostic equipment and factory scan tools, a consistent workload, free training, live technician support, and access to a private Technician Assistance Center. Requirements

At least 5 years of experience as an automotive technician or mechanic.
Positive attitude and a desire to serve guests.
Ability to diagnose and repair all makes and models of vehicles.
Aptitude for learning additional skills and processes.
Professional appearance and strong communication skills.
Desire for long-term career development.
Ability to occasionally lift and/or move over 100 pounds.
Ability to work with tools on vehicles lifted above the technician’s head and in tight spaces as required by repairs.
Dexterity to use hand tools efficiently.
Ability to walk or stand for most of the workday.
Ability to drive vehicles with manual transmissions.
Ability to navigate a computer efficiently.

Nice To Haves

ASE certifications are preferred, or a plan to achieve them.

Responsibilities

Diagnose and repair vehicles for guests.
Build experience working on a wide range of domestic and foreign vehicles.
Complete full, accurate, and honest courtesy vehicle inspections.
Work as part of a team to troubleshoot customer concerns quickly and effectively.
Follow and promote standards of safety, cleanliness, and organization.
Work closely with the service department and communicate customer concerns effectively.
Collaborate with other technicians to solve problems, meet deadlines, and deliver distinguished results.
