About The Position

Christian Brothers Automotive is seeking an energetic, upbeat Automotive Technician / Mechanic with a positive attitude and a strong commitment to finding solutions and doing what is right for guests. The position is based at 19920 Eva St., Montgomery, TX 77356. Technicians diagnose and repair vehicles, build experience working across domestic and foreign makes, perform accurate courtesy inspections, and collaborate with the service department and other technicians to resolve concerns and deliver results. The role requires following safety, cleanliness, and organization standards, meeting hourly goals, and communicating effectively. Christian Brothers Automotive describes its shops as modern facilities equipped with manufacturer-level diagnostic equipment and factory scan tools. Technicians have a consistent workload, free training, full-time live technician support, and access to a private Technician Assistance Center. Requirements

At least 3 years of experience as an automotive technician or mechanic.
Positive attitude and desire to serve guests.
Capability to diagnose and repair all makes and models of vehicles.
Aptitude for learning additional skills and processes.
Professional appearance and strong communication skills.
Desire for long-term career development.
Ability to occasionally lift and/or move more than 100 pounds.
Ability to work with tools on vehicles lifted above the technician's head and in tight repair spaces.
Dexterity to use hand tools efficiently.
Ability to walk or stand for most of the workday.
Ability to drive vehicles with manual transmissions.
Ability to navigate a computer efficiently.

Responsibilities

Diagnose and repair vehicles for guests using automotive knowledge and skills.
Build experience working on a wide range of domestic and foreign vehicles.
Complete full, accurate, and honest courtesy vehicle inspections.
Work as part of a team to troubleshoot guest concerns quickly and effectively.
Follow and promote high standards of safety, cleanliness, and organization.
