About The Position

Christian Brothers Automotive is seeking energetic, upbeat Automotive Technicians / Mechanics with positive attitudes and a strong passion for doing what is right for guests. Technicians diagnose and repair vehicles, build experience across a wide range of domestic and foreign vehicles, and work with the service department and other technicians to resolve guest concerns and deliver quality results. The role follows high standards for safety, cleanliness, and organization. The Montgomery location is at 19920 Eva St., Montgomery, TX 77356.

Requirements

• At least 3 years of experience as an automotive technician or mechanic.
• Positive attitude and desire to serve guests.
• Ability to diagnose and repair all makes and models of vehicles.
• Aptitude for learning additional skills and processes.
• Professional appearance and strong communication skills.
• Desire for long-term career development.
• Ability to occasionally lift and/or move more than 100 pounds.
• Ability to work with tools on vehicles lifted above the technician's head and in tight spaces as required by repairs.
• Dexterity to use hand tools efficiently.
• Ability to walk and stand for most of the workday.
• Ability to drive vehicles with manual transmissions.
• Ability to navigate a computer efficiently.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair vehicles for guests.
• Build experience working on a wide range of domestic and foreign vehicles.
• Complete full, accurate, and honest courtesy vehicle inspections.
• Work with the team to troubleshoot guest concerns quickly and effectively.
• Follow and promote high standards of safety, cleanliness, and organization.
• Work closely with the service department and communicate guest concerns effectively.
• Collaborate with other technicians to solve problems, meet deadlines, and deliver distinguished results.
• Meet or exceed hourly goals.
