About The Position
Lia Nissan Glens Falls is seeking Level B and Level C Automotive Technicians to join its service team. The role is suited to experienced technicians who can work in a fast-paced, professional environment and contribute as reliable, team-oriented employees. The service departments are equipped with current technology and equipment, including a service-drive alignment checker, alignment rack, and Hunter tire-mounting and balancing machines. Compensation ranges from $50,000 to $80,000, with a sign-on bonus of up to $3,500 based on experience and/or certifications.
Requirements
- At least 3 years of Service Technician experience.
- Experience in diagnostics, electrical repair, and engine repair.
- State Inspection certification.
- Ability to operate electronic diagnostic equipment.
- Ability to learn new technology, repair procedures, service procedures, and specifications.
- Computer skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Clean and valid driver's license.
Nice To Haves
- ASE certification is recommended.
Responsibilities
- Perform work specified on repair orders efficiently and in accordance with dealership processes.
- Test-drive vehicles and test components and systems using diagnostic tools and special service equipment.
- Diagnose, maintain, and repair automotive systems, including engines, transmissions, electrical systems, steering, suspension, brakes, and air conditioning.
- Communicate directly with Service Advisors so customers can be informed about additional service needs, including estimated repair time.
- Perform warranty repairs to manufacturer specifications.
