About The Position
Lia Nissan Glens Falls is hiring Level B and Level C Automotive Service Technicians for a fast-paced, professional, and positive environment. Technicians perform vehicle diagnostics, maintenance, and repairs in accordance with dealership processes and manufacturer specifications, and communicate with Service Advisors about additional service needs and repair estimates. The service department is equipped with modern technology and equipment, including a service drive alignment checker, alignment rack, and Hunter tire mounting and balancing machines. Compensation is listed at $50,000–$80,000, with a sign-on bonus of up to $3,500 based on experience and/or certifications. Requirements
- At least 3 years of Service Technician experience.
- Experience with diagnostics, electrical repair, and engine repair.
- State Inspection certification.
- Ability to operate electronic diagnostic equipment.
- Ability to learn new technology, repair procedures, and service specifications.
- Computer skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Clean and valid driver's license.
Nice To Haves
- ASE Certification is recommended.
Responsibilities
- Perform work specified on repair orders efficiently and in accordance with dealership processes.
- Test-drive vehicles and test components and systems using diagnostic tools and special service equipment.
- Diagnose, maintain, and repair vehicle systems, including engines, transmissions, electrical systems, steering, suspension, brakes, and air conditioning.
- Communicate with the Service Advisor so customers can be informed of additional service needs and receive estimates of the time needed for additional repairs.
- Execute warranty repairs to manufacturer specifications.
