About The Position

Lia Nissan Glens Falls is seeking an experienced wholesale Parts Counterperson to join its parts department. The role oversees parts sales from start to finish, helps customers and staff locate parts, processes special orders, and communicates parts status. The position also requires following company safety policies and applicable federal, state, and local regulations. Compensation is $40,000–$50,000 based on experience and knowledge; no sign-on bonus is offered.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Basic computer skills.
• Professional personal appearance and a positive attitude.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills, with attention to detail.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Clean and valid driver's license.
• Experience with auto parts sales is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the parts sales process from start to finish.
• Work with the parts manager to locate parts that are not in stock.
• Complete special-order part requests for customers.
• Communicate parts status to customers.
• Communicate with staff and customers in a friendly and professional manner.
• Follow all company safety policies and procedures.
• Understand and follow applicable federal, state, and local industry regulations.
• Perform other duties assigned by the manager.
