About The Position

Burlington Hyundai is seeking a motivated Automotive Service Technician to diagnose, repair, and maintain vehicles in accordance with manufacturer standards. The role includes performing routine maintenance, inspecting vehicles, troubleshooting mechanical and electrical issues, and accurately documenting completed work. The technician collaborates with the service team to provide timely customer service, keeps current with automotive technology through training, and maintains a clean, safe work environment.

Requirements

• Previous experience as an automotive service technician or mechanic.
• Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency with diagnostic tools, equipment, and software.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
• High school diploma or equivalent.

Nice To Haves

• ASE certification or equivalent.
• Additional technical training or certification.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, repair, and maintain vehicles in accordance with manufacturer standards.
• Perform routine maintenance services, including oil changes, tire rotations, and brake inspections.
• Conduct thorough vehicle inspections, identify potential issues, and provide accurate repair recommendations.
• Use diagnostic tools and equipment to troubleshoot mechanical and electrical problems.
• Complete repair orders efficiently and accurately, documenting all work performed.
• Collaborate with the service team to provide timely and efficient service to customers.
• Stay up to date on automotive technology and service techniques through ongoing training and certification programs.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment and follow safety protocols.
