Automotive Service Technician
About The Position
Martin Automotive Group is hiring Automotive Service Technicians for its Dayton Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram dealership. Technicians perform repair-order work in accordance with dealership policies, diagnose and repair automotive systems, and use diagnostic tools and special service equipment to test components and systems and test-drive vehicles. They communicate with Service Advisors about any additional service needs so customers can be informed, complete online multi-point inspection reports, and perform warranty repairs to manufacturer specifications. The position offers medical, dental, vision, and life insurance, a 401(k), paid holidays, and weekly paychecks. CDJR-trained technicians may earn up to $40.00 base plus a performance bonus and may qualify for the President’s Club. Eligibility for the President’s Club requires at least 1,900 clock hours and 2,000 flagged hours within a calendar year. Eligible technicians are invited to the Martin Group’s annual Awards Banquet, where team members receive a recognition plaque and a check based on their years with the organization, and are eligible for a company demo.
Requirements
- At least 2 years of experience as an auto technician.
- Knowledge of all aspects of automotive repair and maintenance.
- Computer literacy.
- Ability to operate electronic diagnostic equipment.
- Valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities
