Lia Toyota Rockland - Automotive Service Technicians - Level B and Level C
About The Position
Lia Toyota Rockland is hiring Level B and Level C Automotive Service Technicians for a fast-paced, professional, and positive service department. The team uses current technology and equipment, including a service-drive alignment checker, alignment rack, and Hunter tire mounting and balancing machines. The role pays $50,000–$70,000. Technicians perform repairs and maintenance according to repair orders and dealership processes, diagnose vehicle systems, communicate additional service needs and repair-time estimates to Service Advisors, and complete warranty repairs to manufacturer specifications.
Requirements
- At least 3 years of Service Technician experience.
- Experience with diagnostics, electrical repair, and engine repair.
- State Inspection certification.
- Ability to operate electronic diagnostic equipment.
- Ability to learn new technology, repair procedures, service procedures, and specifications.
- Computer skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Clean and valid driver's license.
Nice To Haves
- ASE Certification is recommended.
Responsibilities
- Perform work specified on repair orders efficiently and in accordance with dealership processes.
- Test-drive vehicles and test components and systems using diagnostic tools and special service equipment.
- Diagnose, maintain, and repair automotive systems, including engines, transmissions, electrical systems, steering, suspension, brakes, and air conditioning.
- Communicate with the Service Advisor about additional service needs and estimated repair times so customers can be informed.
- Perform warranty repairs to manufacturer specifications.
