About The Position

Sheehy Auto Stores is seeking Service Lot Porters to support its growing business. The role involves greeting customers, keeping vehicles in excellent condition, and maintaining the lot so customers have a positive first impression. The position requires following company policies, securing vehicles and keys, and communicating with management and coworkers to support customer satisfaction and successful working relationships. Compensation is based on experience, at $16.85 per hour.

Requirements

Must have held a valid driver’s license for at least three years.
Proven track record of achieving or exceeding goals.
Outstanding communication skills.
Professional appearance and work ethic.
Positive attitude and high-energy personality.
Superior customer service skills.
Must be authorized to work in the USA.
Must be able to pass pre-employment testing, including background checks, Motor Vehicle Record checks, and drug tests.

Responsibilities

Install seat, steering wheel, and floor protection, as well as key tags, in vehicles taken in for service.
Return vehicle keys to the appropriate location and ensure vehicles in the lot are locked, windows are rolled up, and keys are securely stored.
Follow all company policies and procedures.
Inform the supervisor of any illegal activity.
Maintain communication and engagement with management, team leads, coworkers, and clients to foster successful working relationships.
Maintain follow-up systems that encourage repeat and referral business and contribute to client satisfaction.
Immediately communicate concerns or situations to management.
Greet customers, keep vehicles in excellent condition, and help maintain the lot.
