About The Position

Victory Automotive Group is seeking an outgoing and dependable Automotive Service Porter to greet customers arriving at the service department and ensure a smooth handoff to a Service Advisor. The role includes moving customer vehicles around the lot and service areas, keeping vehicles clean and free from damage, and helping with cleaning and custodial duties in the shop and lot. Candidates must be able to work in a non-climate-controlled environment and drive both automatic and standard transmission vehicles. Additional duties may be required as part of the role.

Requirements

Valid, unrestricted driver's license and clean driving record.
Professional, dependable, and safety- and customer-service-oriented approach.
Basic computer and internet skills.
Outstanding communication skills.
Professional appearance and work ethic.
Ability to read and comprehend instructions.
Ability to bend, kneel, squat, stand, and lift heavy objects as needed.
Willingness and ability to work in a non-climate-controlled environment.
Ability to drive both automatic and standard transmission vehicles.

Responsibilities

Greet customers entering the service area, answer questions, and direct them to the appropriate person or location.
Install disposable protective coverings, such as seat covers, steering wheel covers, and floor mats, and tag vehicles brought in for service.
Park vehicles and deliver their keys and repair orders to the appropriate Service Advisor.
Retrieve vehicles for customers, wait with them at the vehicle, and thank them for their business.
Follow safety and security procedures.
Attend staff meetings, training, and educational classes as required.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Help with cleaning and custodial duties in the shop and lot areas.
Move customer vehicles in and around the lot and service areas while keeping them clean and damage-free.
