About The Position

Sheehy Auto Stores is seeking Service Lot Porters to support its growing business. The Service Lot Porter greets customers, helps keep vehicles in excellent condition, and maintains the lot so customers have a positive first impression. The position installs protective items and key tags in vehicles brought in for service, safeguards vehicle keys, and ensures vehicles are secured. The role also follows company policies and procedures, communicates concerns to management, and builds effective working relationships with internal and external clients to support customer satisfaction and repeat business.

Requirements

• Must have held a valid driver's license for at least three years.
• Proven track record of achieving or exceeding goals.
• Outstanding communication skills.
• Professional appearance and work ethic.
• Positive attitude and high-energy personality.
• Superior customer service skills.
• Must be authorized to work in the USA.
• Must be able to pass pre-employment testing, including background checks, Motor Vehicle Record checks, and drug tests.

Responsibilities

• Install seat, steering wheel, and floor protection, along with key tags, in vehicles taken in for service.
• Return vehicle keys to the appropriate location and ensure vehicles in the lots are locked, windows are rolled up, and keys are securely stored.
• Follow company policies and procedures and inform the supervisor of illegal activity.
• Maintain engagement and successful working relationships with management, team leads, fellow team members, and internal and external clients.
• Maintain follow-up systems that encourage repeat and referral business and contribute to client satisfaction.
• Immediately communicate concerns or situations to management.
• Greet customers and help ensure vehicles and the lot are well-maintained.
