Automotive Service Manager

Precision Tune Auto CareGreenwood, SC
Onsite

About The Position

Precision Tune Auto Care is seeking a leader who prioritizes the customer experience, treating every person who walks in like a guest, not a transaction. This role is for an operator who understands that the customer experience is as crucial as the repair itself. The company has a 50-year history of providing honest recommendations and quality work in complete vehicle maintenance and repair. The ideal candidate will be driven to grow the shop, focused on the guest experience, and take full ownership of sales and operational numbers. This position is not for those who prefer a rigid schedule or seek to blame others for performance issues, nor for those who believe customer service ends with the ticket. This role requires a leader who can build trust through education and value, develop their team, and take initiative in problem-solving. The Service Manager will be responsible for the day-to-day operations of the shop, including guest experience, sales, workflow, people management, and financial performance. They will set and maintain high hospitality standards, lead and develop service advisors and technicians, drive sales ethically, manage shop productivity, and control expenses. The role also involves reviewing repair recommendations, ensuring quality and safety, hiring and training staff, managing inventory, building client relationships, handling customer concerns, and maintaining compliance with standards. The Service Manager will also perform opening and closing duties and foster a culture of accountability, hustle, and hospitality.
