About The Position

Group 1 GMC Rockville Centre is seeking Automotive Service Advisors to join its expanding team. The role is suited to someone who enjoys engaging with customers, building relationships, communicating clearly, and ensuring a seamless service experience from start to finish. The Service Advisor coordinates customer appointments and repairs, communicates with technicians and the parts team, keeps customers informed, and provides information about service needs and warranty coverage.

Requirements

• At least 2 years of Automotive Service Advisor experience.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver's license.

Nice To Haves

• Experience with CDK and X-time.

Responsibilities

• Schedule and confirm appointments to support a smooth customer experience.
• Create transparent repair orders with accurate cost and time estimates.
• Communicate with technicians and the parts team to help ensure timely service completion.
• Provide customers with regular updates on their vehicle's status.
• Maintain product knowledge to assist customers with service needs and warranty information.
