About The Position

Opelika CDJR is seeking an experienced and motivated Automotive Service Advisor. The role involves identifying vehicle problems, gathering warranty and service-coverage information, and preparing repair orders. The ideal candidate is a high-energy self-starter who maintains outstanding customer satisfaction and is interested in learning from a dedicated team of mentors. The position serves as the main customer contact for automotive service and repair matters and coordinates service expectations and updates among customers and mechanics.

Requirements

• One year of dealership Service Advisor experience is preferred.
• Proven track record of achieving exceptional customer satisfaction.
• Valid driver's license and good standing.
• Personal and professional integrity.
• Desire for a long-term career with a growing organization.

Nice To Haves

• CDK experience is highly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Greet and consult with customers to understand their needs and arrange appropriate service.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for automotive service and repair matters.
• Consult with mechanics about necessary repairs and possible alternatives to expensive work.
• Sell additional needed services.
• Set and manage service-delivery expectations for customers and mechanics.
• Update customers on repair needs and estimated completion times.
• Verify that the final invoice reconciles with the work performed on the repair order.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
