About The Position

Opelika CDJR is seeking high-energy individuals to support the rapid growth of its Sales Department. This role is suited to a self-motivated, organized, and resourceful person who communicates well and is driven to exceed sales goals. Sales Consultants help potential customers understand the value of the company’s services, support them through vehicle selection and purchase, and build relationships that generate sales leads. No sales experience is required.

Requirements

• Friendly, energetic attitude with a focus on customer service.
• Steady work history and commitment to starting a new career.
• Excellent communication, customer service, and problem-solving skills, including the ability to maintain composure under stress.
• Positive, outgoing personality and ability to develop relationships.
• Valid driver’s license and good standing.
• Strong negotiation and presentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers and assess their needs, assisting them through the vehicle selection and buying process.
• Test drive vehicles with customers and demonstrate their features.
• Build productive, trusting relationships and help customers complete the sales process.
• Maintain contact with clients to ensure satisfaction and encourage repeat and referral business.
• Stay knowledgeable about products and discuss available options.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
