About The Position

Walser Automotive Group is hiring an Automotive Sales Consultant for Bloomington Chrysler Jeep Dodge. The company is a family-owned automotive group with 29 dealerships representing 26 brands across Minnesota, Kansas, and Illinois. A portion of every vehicle sold and serviced supports the Walser Foundation and its community investments.

The consultant guides customers through the vehicle sales process, provides test drives and vehicle feature explanations, follows up after purchases, and maintains daily contact with prospective customers through the CRM. Compensation is a base salary plus uncapped commission, with average earnings of $75,000–$120,000 per year. The role also requires maintaining the store’s unit average and upholding Walser’s core values.

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Professional attitude and appearance.
• Strong sales, customer service, and interpersonal skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record.

Responsibilities

• Maintain the unit average required by the store.
• Greet customers promptly and courteously.
• Lead customers through the entire sales process.
• Take customers on test drives and ensure they understand vehicle operating features.
• Follow up with customers after purchase.
• Maintain daily contact with potential customers through the CRM.
• Wear safety eyewear when in dealership service departments.
• Wear hard-toed, slip-resistant footwear when in dealership service departments.
• Perform other duties, tasks, and projects as assigned.
