About The Position

The Ed Napleton Automotive Group is hiring an experienced Sales Consultant at Napleton Genesis of Carmel. The Sales Consultant represents the dealership and helps provide a positive customer experience by assisting customers with vehicle selection, explaining vehicle features and options, and building customer relationships. This is a fast-paced opportunity with growth potential. Compensation is incentive-based, with a potential pay range of $50,000–$150,000 per year.

Requirements

At least 2 years of sales or customer service experience.
High school diploma or GED equivalent.
Excellent customer service, organizational, and negotiation skills.
Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and enthusiastic in a team environment.
Proven customer-service or retail sales experience.
Willingness to undergo a background check in accordance with local law and regulations.
At least 18 years of age to comply with the company driving policy.

Responsibilities

Assist dealership customers, answer their questions, and help them select a vehicle that meets their needs.
Follow up with customers in a timely manner and maintain strong relationships.
Explain vehicle performance, applications, benefits, and optional equipment to prospective customers.
Determine each customer's vehicle needs by asking questions and listening.
Deliver vehicles and explain their operating features, warranties, and paperwork to customers.
Stay informed about incoming inventory, vehicle features, and accessories, including their customer benefits.
Introduce customers to service department personnel and highlight the dealership's service and maintenance offerings.
