About The Position
Our dealerships are seeking a motivated, full-time Parts Counter Person/Parts Advisor to join the service team. The role supports retail customers and technicians, handles parts ordering and inventory, and maintains an orderly work area while delivering a high level of customer service. Requirements
- Be customer-oriented, self-motivated, and a team player.
- Have one to two years of prior automotive parts experience in a retail parts outlet or dealership setting.
- Be computer literate.
- Have a high school diploma or GED.
- Be available to work a flexible schedule that includes some evenings and Saturdays.
- Have a valid driver's license and few to no points on the driving record.
Responsibilities
- Order, receive, and bill parts.
- Maintain proper storage of parts and stock shelves.
- Assist retail customers and technicians, including answering phones.
- Support parts inventory management through bin counts and record keeping.
- Pick up and deliver parts.
- Keep the department and work area orderly, neat, and clean.
- Maintain a superior level of customer service.
- Perform other duties as directed by management.
