Entry-Level Automotive Parts Associate
About The Position
Carvana is hiring for an entry-level Parts Associate role at a high-tech vehicle Inspection Center. The associate orders parts, identifies and records parts needed, and maintains an orderly storage area while receiving and picking parts for vehicles. Carvana provides training programs for entry-level employees to help their skills and pay progress. The location offers two shifts: Monday–Friday, 6 a.m.–3 p.m., or Monday–Thursday, 4 p.m.–3 a.m. Mandatory overtime may be required based on business needs. The Inspection Center is located at 11245 Old Corpus Christi Hwy, San Antonio, TX 78223.
Requirements
- Be at least 18 years of age.
- Possess a valid driver's license; some positions may be subject to a Motor Vehicle Records check.
- Be able to read, write, speak, and understand English.
- Be able to physically operate vehicle equipment and tools and lift up to 60 pounds independently.
- Be able to work in a fast-paced, changing production environment, sometimes with exposure to excessive heat or cold.
- Use safety equipment, which may include a face shield or goggles, non-slip shoes, gloves, a mask, and other protective garments and equipment.
- Pass a complete background check as a condition of hiring.
