About The Position

The Lubrication Technician lubricates vehicles quickly and thoroughly, coordinating responsibilities with the Production Foreman. The role includes performing lubrication services, inspecting vehicles for other repair or preventive-maintenance needs, maintaining lubrication equipment, and keeping customer vehicles clean. The technician follows company safety policies and reports accidents to a manager or supervisor.

Requirements

Knowledge of all aspects of automotive repair and maintenance.
Valid driver’s license and a good driving record.
Two years of experience as a technician’s helper or apprentice in an automobile dealership.
Manual dexterity.
Good judgment.
Authorization to work in the USA.
Ability to perform duties and responsibilities safely.
Ability to pass pre-employment testing, including background checks, MVR, drug test, credit report, and valid driver license verification.

Responsibilities

Perform all lubrication services.
Thoroughly check customer vehicles, including the battery, lights, and tires, and refer needed repairs or preventive maintenance to the Service Advisor.
Operate and maintain lubrication equipment.
Receive repair orders from the Service Salesman or Production Foreman and proceed to the service lift.
Lubricate the entire vehicle while looking for other items that may need repair.
Keep customer vehicles clean.
Ensure all equipment is in proper working order, especially the lifts.
Use adequate, but not excessive, amounts of materials and supplies.
Follow company safety policies and procedures and immediately report accidents to a manager or supervisor.
