About The Position
The Hertrich Family of Dealerships is hiring experienced Automotive General Managers to lead dealerships throughout Delaware and Maryland’s Eastern Shore. This executive leadership opportunity is for a proven dealership leader seeking broader opportunity, executive support, and career growth within a growing, family-owned automotive group. The role focuses on dealership profitability and performance, developing management teams, customer satisfaction, employee engagement, and achieving company and manufacturer goals. Hertrich is a third-generation dealership group with 24 dealerships, 15 collision centers, and 18 automotive brands. The company has served communities for more than 60 years and describes its culture as built on integrity, accountability, teamwork, and operational excellence.
Requirements
- At least 3 years of successful Automotive General Manager experience.
- Proven record of dealership leadership and profitability.
- Strong financial, operational, and team development skills.
- Results-driven leadership, high integrity, and professionalism.
- Excellent communication and organizational abilities.
- Passion for developing people and delivering outstanding customer experiences.
