About The Position

Holman is seeking an Automotive Finance Consultant to join the Lexus of Portland team. The role supports successful finance and insurance operations, helps customers consider appropriate financing and protection products, and handles customer credit applications and related paperwork. The consultant also maintains customer satisfaction, stays current on finance and insurance products and industry practices, trains sales consultants on F&I products and paperwork, and assists desk managers as needed. This is a commission-eligible role; the posting says employees can expect to earn an average of $10,000–$20,000 per month, with earnings based on personal performance.

Requirements

Responsibilities

Maintain a successful finance and insurance operation.
Ensure buyers are offered appropriate financing, payment protection, and other products and services for their vehicle purchase.
Maintain a follow-up system for collecting one-pay contracts and outstanding titles.
Obtain and maintain high customer satisfaction scores.
Process, review, and analyze customers’ credit reports.
Run customer credit reports containing detailed credit history and confidential consumer data.
Analyze customer credit histories to assess the probability that a bank will accept their credit applications.
Maintain knowledge of finance and insurance products and manufacturers’ policies.
Train and manage sales consultants on F&I products and related paperwork.
Maintain industry knowledge and develop and maintain relationships with industry contacts.
Assist desk managers as necessary.
