About The Position

AutoNation is seeking an Automotive F&I Manager for Hyundai Columbus. In AutoNation’s no-haggle sales environment, the F&I Manager makes credit decisions, submits deals to lenders for approval, and helps bridge disconnects in the sales process. The role uses automotive sales or finance experience to identify suitable finance and insurance products for customers.

The F&I Manager guides customers through the transition from Sales to Finance, determines financing needs and payment options through consultative interviews, and presents transparent pricing and product options. The role also processes finance transactions in compliance with state and federal regulations, supports customer satisfaction and loyalty, achieves sales goals, and handles administrative processes in accordance with company policy.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Proven ability to provide an exceptional customer experience.
• Ability to set and achieve targeted goals.
• Highly detail-oriented and organized.
• Demonstrated communication, consultative, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
• Experience and desire to work with technology.

• Prior sales experience is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Welcome customers to the store and transition them from Sales to Finance during their vehicle purchase process.
• Work directly with employees and customers to develop relationships.
• Determine customer financing needs and payment options through a consultative interview process.
• Present customers with a fully transparent pricing menu detailing financing options and products.
• Make credit decisions and submit deals to lenders for approval.
• Process finance transactions in compliance with state and federal laws and regulations.
• Follow up with customers to ensure satisfaction.
• Build rapport with customers to create a base of referrals.
• Set and achieve targeted sales goals.
• Develop superior product knowledge to help customers effectively.
• Handle administrative processes in a timely manner and in compliance with company policy.
• Provide an exceptional customer experience to drive loyalty.
