About The Position

Carvana is hiring for entry-level automotive roles at its Haines City, Florida Inspection Center. The listed role includes automotive detailing and lot-attendant work; other entry-level options at the center include Photobooth Associate and Inspection Associate. Detailers wash vehicles, clean interiors, and buff exteriors. Lot Attendants move vehicles between departments. Photobooth Associates photograph vehicles, and Inspection Associates check vehicle interiors and exteriors and identify imperfections or defects. The starting pay is $16.00 per hour. The stated first shift runs Monday through Friday, 6 a.m. to 3 p.m. Locations may require mandatory overtime based on business needs. Employees work in a fast-paced, changing production environment and may be exposed to heat or cold. Carvana provides training programs for entry-level employees, with the aim of helping their skills and pay progress. Hiring is contingent on passing a complete background check, and the role is not eligible for visa sponsorship.

Requirements

Must be at least 18 years of age.
Must possess a valid driver’s license.
Must be able to lift up to 60 pounds independently.
Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand English.
Must be able to work in a fast-paced, changing production environment and sometimes be exposed to heat or cold.
Must use required safety equipment, which may include a face shield or goggles, non-slip shoes, gloves, a mask, and other protective garments and equipment.
Hiring is contingent on passing a complete background check.
Some positions may be subject to a Motor Vehicle Records (MVR) check.

Responsibilities

Detail vehicles, including washing, cleaning interiors, and buffing exteriors.
Move vehicles from one department to another in the Inspection Center.
Depending on the selected entry-level position, photograph vehicles or inspect their interiors and exteriors to identify imperfections and defects.
Work mandatory overtime when required by business needs.
