About The Position

Carvana is hiring for entry-level automotive roles at its Inspection Centers. Depending on the position, work may include detailing vehicles through washing, interior cleaning, and exterior buffing; moving vehicles between departments; photographing vehicles; or inspecting vehicle interiors and exteriors to identify imperfections or defects. Entry-level employees receive training programs intended to help their skills and pay progress. The role uses tools and equipment in a high-tech Inspection Center and takes place in a fast-paced, changing production environment. Employees may be exposed to heat or cold and must use applicable safety equipment. The position is based at the inspection center at 8901 Brewerton Rd., Brewerton, NY 13029. The first shift is Monday through Friday, 6 a.m. to 3 p.m. Mandatory overtime may be required based on business needs.

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Must possess a valid driver’s license; some positions may be subject to a Motor Vehicle Records check.
• Must be able to physically operate vehicle equipment and tools and lift up to 60 pounds independently.
• Must be able to work in a fast-paced, changing production environment and sometimes be exposed to heat or cold.
• Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand English.
• Must be able to work mandatory overtime based on business needs.
• Hiring is contingent on passing a complete background check.

Responsibilities

• Detail vehicles, including washing, interior cleaning, and exterior buffing, depending on the assigned position.
• Move vehicles from one department to another in the Inspection Center, depending on the assigned position.
• Take photographs of vehicles for customers to view, depending on the assigned position.
• Inspect vehicle interiors and exteriors and accurately identify imperfections or defects, depending on the assigned position.
• Work mandatory overtime when required by business needs.
• Use applicable safety equipment.
