About The Position

Carvana is hiring for entry-level automotive roles at its high-tech Inspection Centers. Depending on the position, duties include detailing vehicles through washing, interior cleaning, and exterior buffing; moving vehicles between departments; photographing vehicles for customer listings; or inspecting vehicle interiors and exteriors to identify imperfections and defects. Entry-level employees receive training programs designed to help their skills and pay progress with the company. The role is based at Carvana’s Inspection Center at 8901 Brewerton Rd., Brewerton, NY 13029. The schedule is first shift, Monday through Friday, 6 a.m. to 3 p.m., with mandatory overtime possible based on business needs. Hiring is contingent on passing a complete background check, and the role is not eligible for visa sponsorship.

Requirements

Must be at least 18 years of age.
Must possess a valid driver’s license; some positions may be subject to a Motor Vehicle Records check.
Must be able to physically operate vehicle equipment and tools and lift up to 60 pounds independently.
Ability to work in a fast-paced, ever-changing production environment, sometimes exposed to excessive heat or cold.
Must use required safety equipment, which may include a face shield or goggles, non-slip shoes, gloves, a mask, and other protective garments and equipment.
Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand English.
Must pass a complete background check.
Must be able to work mandatory overtime based on business needs.

Responsibilities

Detail vehicles, including washing, interior cleaning, and exterior buffing.
Move vehicles from one department to another in the Inspection Center.
Take photos of vehicles for customer listings.
Inspect vehicle interiors and exteriors and accurately identify imperfections or defects.
