About The Position

Carvana is hiring for entry-level automotive roles at its Inspection Centers, including Detailer, Lot Attendant, Photobooth Associate, and Inspection Associate. Detailers wash vehicles, clean interiors, and buff exteriors. Lot Attendants move vehicles between departments. Photobooth Associates take vehicle photos for customer listings, and Inspection Associates inspect vehicle interiors and exteriors to identify imperfections and defects. The starting pay is $18 per hour. The location offers two shifts: Monday through Friday, 6 a.m. to 3 p.m., or Monday through Thursday, 4 p.m. to 2:30 a.m. Mandatory overtime may be required based on business needs. The work takes place in a fast-paced, changing production environment and may involve exposure to heat or cold. Employees use tools and safety equipment, and entry-level employees receive training programs intended to help their skills and pay progress. Employment is contingent on passing a complete background check. The role is not eligible for visa sponsorship. Applicants must be at least 18, have a valid driver’s license, and be able to read, write, speak, and understand English.

Requirements

Able to physically operate vehicle equipment and tools.
Able to lift up to 60 pounds independently.
At least 18 years of age.
Possess a valid driver’s license; some positions may be subject to a Motor Vehicle Records check.
Able to work in a fast-paced, changing production environment, sometimes with exposure to excessive heat or cold.
Use required safety equipment, which may include a face shield or goggles, non-slip shoes, gloves, a mask, and other protective garments and equipment.
Able to read, write, speak, and understand English.
Must pass a complete background check.
The role is not eligible for visa sponsorship.

Responsibilities

For Detailer roles, wash vehicles, clean vehicle interiors, and buff vehicle exteriors.
For Lot Attendant roles, move vehicles from one department to another within Inspection Centers.
For Photobooth Associate roles, take photos of vehicles for customer listings.
For Inspection Associate roles, inspect vehicle interiors and exteriors and accurately identify imperfections or defects.
Work mandatory overtime when required by business needs.
