Requirements

  • Previous automotive commercial sales, fleet sales, or outside sales experience within the automotive industry is required.
  • Proven track record of generating new business and exceeding sales goals.
  • Strong relationship-building and networking skills.
  • Self-starter mentality with the ability to work independently and manage a sales territory.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to identify opportunities, solve problems, and deliver customer-focused solutions.
  • Experience utilizing CRM platforms and Microsoft Office products.
  • Professional appearance and strong business acumen.
  • Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record.
  • Must successfully complete a pre-employment background screening.

Responsibilities

  • Prospect, develop, and grow new commercial business throughout the market.
  • Build and maintain relationships with local businesses, fleet operators, contractors, municipalities, and commercial accounts.
  • Create and execute strategic business development plans to increase commercial vehicle sales and market penetration.
  • Conduct outside sales calls, networking activities, and customer visits to generate new opportunities.
  • Understand each customer's business needs and recommend customized vehicle and fleet solutions.
  • Prepare proposals, quotes, and presentations for commercial clients.
  • Negotiate pricing, vehicle specifications, and service agreements.
  • Partner with dealership leadership and support teams to ensure an exceptional customer experience.
  • Maintain accurate customer and prospect records within CRM systems.
  • Stay informed on industry trends, competitor activity, vehicle offerings, and commercial fleet solutions.
  • Consistently achieve and exceed sales, profitability, and customer satisfaction goals.
