About The Position
The Ed Napleton Automotive Group is seeking an Automotive Cashier at Oak Lawn Honda. The cashier plays an important role in the customer experience by handling customer transactions, calculating bills, and processing payments. The ideal candidate is accurate and customer-focused. Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Cashier experience.
- Ability to read and comprehend instructions and information.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Professional appearance.
- Willingness to undergo a background check and drug screen in accordance with local law and regulations.
- Must be at least 18 years old to comply with the company driving policy.

Responsibilities
- Calculate customer bills using the dealership’s computer system.
- Receive cash, checks, and credit card payments from customers.
- Make change accurately and issue receipts.
- Ascertain and record totals of counter tickets and repair orders, sales deposits, and verify them against cash, checks, and credit card payments on hand at the end of the shift.
- Handle customer complaints diplomatically and refer complaining customers to the appropriate individual for resolution.
- Work a flexible schedule, including some weekends and holidays.
- Perform other duties as assigned by management.
