Midas - Automotive Assistant & Service Managers
About The Position
Auto Systems Centers, the world's largest Midas franchisee and now part of the Mavis Tire family, is hiring full-time Assistant and Service Managers for its service, repair, and tire center in Maineville, Ohio. Assistant Managers support the Store Manager in operating a Midas retail location efficiently, safely, and effectively. They enforce established policies, procedures, and standards; schedule mechanics' and technicians' work; manage outside orders; ensure jobs are completed on time and to quality standards; meet customer expectations; and promote team-member safety. Service Managers help customers select tires and recommend necessary under-car repair services. They direct the workflow of Mechanics, Alignment Technicians, and Tire Technicians, stage repair and maintenance work, and help ensure timely, high-quality service and customer satisfaction. They also support sales initiatives, communicate with customers, assess their needs, explain requested or necessary automotive repairs and maintenance, and work to meet customer expectations.
Requirements
- At least 2 years of experience or training in automotive parts and/or tire sales, or a relevant combination of education, training, and experience.
- Must be at least 18 years old.
- Must be authorized to work in the United States.
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift or move items weighing over 50 pounds.
- Dependability, teamwork, and a commitment to providing quality service in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
- Support the Store Manager in ensuring the retail location operates efficiently, safely, and effectively.
- Enforce established policies, procedures, and standards.
- Schedule mechanics' and technicians' work and manage outside orders.
- Ensure jobs are completed on time and to quality standards, meeting customer expectations and team safety requirements.
- Assist customers with tire selections and recommend necessary under-car repair services.
- Direct the workflow of Mechanics, Alignment Technicians, and Tire Technicians.
- Stage vehicle repair and maintenance work.
- Communicate with customers, assess their needs, and provide information about requested or necessary automotive repairs and maintenance.
- Drive sales initiatives and help ensure customer satisfaction.
