About The Position

Auto Systems Centers, the world's largest Midas franchisee and part of the Mavis Tire family, is hiring full-time Assistant Managers and Service Managers for a service, repair, and tire center in Cincinnati, Ohio.

Assistant Managers support the Store Manager in operating a Midas retail location efficiently, safely, and effectively. They help enforce policies, procedures, and standards; schedule mechanics' and technicians' work; manage outside orders; ensure jobs are completed safely, on time, and to quality standards; and help meet customer expectations.

Service Managers help customers select tires and recommend needed under-car repair services. They direct the workflow of mechanics, alignment technicians, and tire technicians, and stage vehicle repair and maintenance work. They communicate with customers, assess needs, explain requested or necessary automotive repairs and maintenance, support sales initiatives, and work to ensure timely, high-quality service and customer satisfaction.

The position offers competitive weekly pay with guaranteed base pay and bonus potential, a five-day work week with Sundays and one other weekday off, retirement savings with an employer match, insurance coverage, paid time off, career advancement opportunities, and uniform expense coverage.

Requirements

• At least 2 years of experience or training in automotive parts and/or tire sales, or a relevant combination of education, training, and experience.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Must be authorized to work in the United States.
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift or move items weighing over 50 pounds.
• Dependability, teamwork, and commitment to providing quality service in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Support the Store Manager in ensuring the retail location operates efficiently, safely, and effectively.

• Drive sales initiatives by communicating directly with customers and assessing their needs.
• Provide information about requested and necessary automotive repairs and maintenance.
• Ensure customers are satisfied with their in-store experience and strive to meet their expectations.
