Midas - Automotive Assistant & Service Managers
About The Position
Auto Systems Centers, the world's largest Midas franchisee and now part of the Mavis Tire family, is hiring full-time Assistant and Service Managers for a service, repair, and tire center in Dayton, Ohio. Assistant Managers support the Store Manager in operating a Midas retail location efficiently, safely, and effectively. They enforce established policies, procedures, and standards; schedule mechanics' and technicians' work; manage outside orders; ensure jobs are completed on time and to a high standard; meet customer expectations; and promote team safety. Service Managers help customers select tires and recommend necessary under-car repairs. They direct the workflow of mechanics, alignment technicians, and tire technicians, and stage vehicle repair and maintenance work. They communicate with customers, assess their needs, explain requested or necessary repairs and maintenance, support Midas sales initiatives, and work to ensure timely, high-quality service and customer satisfaction.
Requirements
- At least 2 years of experience or training in automotive parts and/or tire sales, or a relevant combination of education, training, and experience.
- Must be at least 18 years old.
- Must be authorized to work in the United States.
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift or move items weighing over 50 pounds.
- Dependability, teamwork, and commitment to providing quality service in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
- Support the Store Manager in the efficient, safe, and effective operation of the retail location.

- Manage outside orders.

- Promote the safety of team members.
- Assist customers with tire selections and recommend necessary under-car repair services.

- Stage vehicle repair and maintenance work.
- Communicate with customers, assess their needs, and provide information about requested or necessary automotive repairs and maintenance.
- Drive sales initiatives and work to ensure customer satisfaction.
