About The Position

Carvana is seeking a Mid-Level Interior Repair/Glass Repair Technician with at least 3 years of professional automotive interior repair and/or glass repair experience. The technician repairs vehicle upholstery and interior components, performs color matching and fabric dyeing, and repairs damage to windows and windshields. The work takes place in a high-tech Inspection Center as part of Carvana’s vehicle reconditioning process. Carvana offers training programs for entry-level employees, although this role is described as mid-level. The position may require mandatory overtime based on business needs.

Requirements

At least 3 years of professional automotive interior repair and/or glass repair experience.
Ability to physically operate vehicle equipment and tools and lift up to 60 pounds independently.
At least 18 years of age and a valid driver’s license; some positions may be subject to a Motor Vehicle Records check.
Ability to work in a fast-paced, changing production environment, sometimes with exposure to excessive heat or cold.
Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English.
Must pass a complete background check.

Responsibilities

Repair damaged cloth, fabric, leather, plastic, vinyl, and other upholstery.
Repair center consoles, seats, dashboards, headliners, plastic components, and stitching.
Color-match and dye cloth and fabric.
Repair stars, bullseyes, combination breaks, cracks, and scratches in windows and windshields.
Work in a fast-paced, changing production environment and use required safety equipment.
