About The Position

Carvana is hiring an Interior Restoration Specialist to perform automotive interior repair and/or glass repair at a high-tech vehicle Inspection Center. The role is described as mid-level and requires professional experience in automotive interior repair and/or glass repair. Technicians repair upholstery and interior components, perform color matching and dyeing, and repair damage to vehicle windows and windshields. Entry-level positions may include training programs to support skill and pay progression.

Requirements

At least 3 years of professional automotive interior repair and/or glass repair experience.
Ability to physically operate vehicle equipment and tools.
Ability to lift up to 60 pounds independently.
At least 18 years of age.
Valid driver’s license; some positions may require a motor vehicle records check.
Ability to work in a fast-paced, changing production environment, with occasional exposure to excessive heat or cold.
Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English.
Must pass a complete background check.

Responsibilities

Repair damaged cloth, fabric, leather, plastic, vinyl, and other upholstery.
Repair center consoles, seats, dashboards, headliners, plastic components, and stitching.
Color match and dye cloth and fabric.
Repair stars, bullseyes, combination breaks, cracks, and scratches in windows and windshields.
Work mandatory overtime when required by business needs.
Use tools and safety equipment in a vehicle reconditioning or inspection environment.
