About The Position

The Claims Inside Auto Analyst II investigates and confirms the facts of automobile accident losses. The role determines coverage, liability, and damages, and adjusts and negotiates claims within its authority. It involves basic investigation of auto claims and applying customer service skills to identify and meet customer needs. The position has no supervisory duties.

As a condition of employment, applicants with an active insurance license must terminate existing appointments before onboarding and may not hold outside appointments during employment. Applicants seeking an adjuster role who hold a resident producer license must surrender it when instructed by the licensing team.

Requirements

• Applicants must be authorized to work in the United States; the company does not sponsor work visas.
• Applicants who currently hold an active insurance license must terminate all existing appointments before onboarding and may not hold outside appointments during employment.
• Applicants seeking an adjuster role who hold a resident producer license must surrender that license when instructed by the licensing team.

Responsibilities

• Apply a basic understanding of company systems and technology.
• Partner with others to determine subrogation or fraud potential and how to handle it.
• Demonstrate a basic understanding of company-written insurance policies, the insurance industry, and organizational relationships within the company and department.
• Conduct basic investigations into most aspects of auto claims, including coverage, liability, and damages.
• Begin recognizing vehicle body parts and other potential property damage.
• Identify customer needs and address them using appropriate customer service skills.
• Adjust and negotiate claims within authority.
