About The Position

Carvana is hiring a Mid-Level Auto Paint Technician for its Belton, Missouri location. The technician will match and mix paint colors and use water-based paint to paint vehicles inside paint booths at a high-tech vehicle Inspection Center. The role requires at least three years of professional automotive painting experience. The schedule is Monday through Friday, 6:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m., with overtime opportunities. Mandatory overtime may be required based on business needs. The work takes place in a fast-paced, changing production environment and may involve exposure to hot or cold weather. Hiring is contingent on passing a complete background check. The position is not eligible for visa sponsorship.

Requirements

At least three years of professional automotive painting experience.
Ability to physically operate vehicle equipment and tools.
Ability to lift up to 60 pounds independently.
At least 18 years of age.
Valid driver’s license; some positions may be subject to a Motor Vehicle Records check.
Ability to work in a fast-paced, ever-changing production environment, sometimes with exposure to heat or cold.
Use required safety equipment, which may include a face shield or goggles, non-slip shoes, gloves, a mask, and other protective garments and equipment.
Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English.
Must pass a complete background check.
